Church Partnership with a Local Good News Club®

God has opened the doors to public schools in America through the Supreme Court decision on June 11, 2001, and it is a decision that has not gone unchallenged. But as long as the doors are open, there remains an amazing opportunity to change the future of a generation of children where they are – in school through an after-school Good News Club®. CEF is here to serve your church and partner with you to reach children of your community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ while helping children grow in Christ and become part of your church.

Support a Christian Youth in Action® Summer Missionary

  • CYIA summer missionaries are Christian teens, age 14 to college level students, who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and are ready to grow spiritually and go witness to children about Jesus Christ through Summer Ministry and 5-Day Clubs®. Each summer missionary is thoroughly screened, trained and equipped by CEF and challenged to raise $2,000 to cover the costs of Summer Ministry.

Support a Local 5-Day Club®

  • Summer is a wonderful time to gather kids in the community for 5-Day Clubs®.  5-Day Clubs® are similar to Vacation Bible School bringing the Gospel into neighborhoods and community centers. Where some families may be hesitant about bringing their kids to a church, they don’t mind allowing their children attend an activity at a nearby park or neighbor’s home.  5-Day Clubs® also meet in rural churches to reach children in their community by hosting a 5-Day Club® at their church. This year we have the privilege of taking the Gospel to the Housing Developments in Johnstown

Company Matches

  • Company nonprofit matches, such as employee matching gift programs, are corporate giving initiatives where companies match their employees' charitable donations to eligible nonprofits. This essentially doubles or even triples the impact of individual donations, benefiting both the employee and the nonprofit.

  • Other companies, such as insurance companies, offer a birthday match. For example, GBU Life  extends the opportunity to its members to participate in a Birthday Match. Members make a donation to their favorite 501(c)3 organization on the member’s birthday, and GBU will match the donation up to $100!

In Memory/Honor of a Loved One

  • Memorial donations are gifts made to a charity or nonprofit in memory of a deceased person, often instead of flowers at a funeral or memorial service. These donations can be a way for families to honor the memory of their loved one while also supporting a cause that the deceased person cared about. There is no better legacy to leave than one that Spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
